About the data
Everything on this site comes from data that UK public bodies publish for anyone to reuse. We store each file as published, load it without changing the figures, and show each figure with the date of the file it came from. Where a source warns about its own limits, the page repeats the warning. How each figure is matched to a street and worked out is on Methodology.

What we do not know
- Crime locations are anonymised by the police before publication: each crime is moved to the nearest of about 760,000 fixed points. Greater Manchester Police has published no data since 2019.
- Energy certificates last ten years and describe the home when it was assessed; many homes have none.
- Flood risk figures describe areas, not buildings: the Environment Agency says they are not suitable for showing whether an individual property is at risk, and none of them cover flooding from sewers or drains. For Wales only the planning flood zones are shown so far.
- Sales reach the Land Registry weeks after completion, and some kinds of transfer are never in the data.
- Ofsted's grades changed in November 2025; a school's report-card grades and an older overall grade are not comparable.
- Scotland and Northern Ireland are not covered; Wales is covered except for schools and flood likelihood, which come from different bodies and are being added.
